Prompt2CAD turns a product concept into editable, dimensioned CAD geometry. Describe an electronics enclosure with a recessed lid, a handheld device housing, a battery compartment, or a desktop appliance case, and develop wall thicknesses, bosses, ribs, and clearances in a parametric 3D model. Iterate through conversation — "add a USB-C cutout on the back face", "thicken the boss walls to 2mm", "add a 0.4mm lip around the lid" — and inspect each revision in 3D. Export STEP for further design review in Fusion 360 or SolidWorks, or STL for slicer preparation and validation. Fit, tolerances, and material behavior still need independent checking.

Illustrative DeepSeek 1017 usage, not measured averages: a new model uses 10 calls of 100k input and 3k output tokens each; an update uses 2 calls of 100k input and 4k output each.
