About this model

A handleless modular chest of drawers calibrated to the proportions designers actually expect from a Malm-style bedroom piece. The default sits at 80cm wide × 78cm tall × 48cm deep with three drawers stacked; bump the rows parameter to four and the carcass grows to 100cm tall on the same footprint, matching the standard tall variant. Bump the columns parameter to two at any width over 80cm and you get the wide six- or eight-drawer dresser configuration. The defining detail is the iconic finger-pull chamfer cut into the top edge of every drawer front, so there is no external hardware to specify, source, or scuff against the wall. A 3mm shadow line between drawers reads as a precise shadow gap in renders rather than a manufacturing tolerance. Drag the drawer-opening slider and the fronts glide forward to reveal the 15cm-deep internal boxes, so you can show clients exactly how the piece functions. Three finishes are baked in as an enum: matte white, black-brown (a deep walnut tone closest to IKEA's signature), and white-stained oak.
