About this model

A faithful homage to the Swiss USM Haller modular storage system, rebuilt as a fully parametric model so you can size it to the room you actually have. The default configuration is a 4-module-wide by 3-module-high shelving unit on the standard 35cm USM E-grid, totalling 140cm wide, 110cm tall, and 35cm deep, but the same model scales down to a desk-side cube or up to a full wall unit just by sweeping the modulesWide, modulesHigh, and moduleSizeGrid parameters. The signature chrome tubular frame is built from 19mm-diameter tubes meeting at 24mm mirror-chrome spherical ball joints at every grid intersection, exactly as the original Fritz Haller and Paul Schaerer design specified in 1963. Inset powder-coated steel panels close the bottom row of compartments with a circular knob/lock at one corner of each door, while the upper bays read as open display shelving. The whole frame sits on adjustable blackened-steel leveling feet that lift the carcass cleanly off the floor. Six panel colour options are baked in as an enum, matched to the actual USM palette: Pure White (RAL 9010), Jet Black (RAL 9005), Anthracite Grey (RAL 7016), Steel Blue (RAL 5011), Moss Green (RAL 6005), and Oxide Red (RAL 3009). Drop it into the editor, sweep the grid to fit the wall, pick the colour that matches the room, then export to STEP, DXF, OBJ, or GLB for fabrication or visualisation.
