Top-up
Prompt2CAD is pay-as-you-go. No subscription, no recurring charge, no auto-renewal. You top up when the balance is low; credits are valid for 3 months from the date they are added to your account.
14-day money-back guarantee
Purchased credits that you have not used are covered by our 14-day money-back guarantee. Request the refund within 14 days of purchase. Credits that have been consumed are not refundable. See Refunds for how to make a request.
How to top up
- From the pricing page, pick an inline preset ($10, $25, $50, or $100) or enter a custom amount of $10 or more, then click Top Up. There is no intermediate dialog on this path.
- In the app, click the credit chip in the header, click any gated export and accept the paywall dialog's offer, or ask the agent to top up. An in-app dialog opens where you pick the amount and see the credit total.
- You're redirected to Stripe Checkout, where Link collects your billing details and shows the available payment methods, local currency, and applicable tax.
- Stripe, through Link, is the merchant of record for the transaction. On success Checkout redirects back to
/app?checkout=successand the credits land within seconds.
If you cancel out of Stripe Checkout, you land at /app?checkout=cancelled and nothing happens. No partial charge, no half-state. Try again whenever.
Credits and volume bonuses
The base rate is 1 US cent of top-up value = 1 credit. Top-ups of $25 or more receive 10% extra credits, while top-ups of $50 or more receive 20% extra. You can choose any amount of $10 or more; the common presets are:
| You pay (USD) | You get (credits) | Approx. new CAD models | Approx. model updates |
|---|---|---|---|
| $10 (minimum) | 1,000 | ~10 | ~20 |
| $25 (+10%) | 2,750 | ~27 | ~55 |
| $50 (+20%) | 6,000 | ~60 | ~120 |
| $100 (+20%) | 12,000 | ~120 | ~240 |
The estimates show either-or usage for comparison. Most projects mix a new CAD model with subsequent updates, and actual chat cost varies with token usage and complexity. The Stripe product description lists both estimates: "~10 new CAD models · or ~20 model updates."
Currency
Checkout automatically converts the USD base price into a supported local currency. The final amount and currency are shown before you pay. Local-currency conversion and applicable VAT, GST, or sales tax do not change the number of credits you receive.
Your statement shows LINK.COM* followed by the Prompt2CAD statement descriptor. Link calculates, collects, and remits indirect tax where Managed Payments provides tax coverage; Prompt2CAD remains responsible where that coverage does not apply.
Payment methods
Stripe dynamically shows the methods supported for the transaction. These can include cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link, and eligible local methods. Not every method is available in every country, currency, or checkout.
Prompt2CAD doesn't see your card details — Stripe handles the entire payment surface.
What top-up unlocks
The first time you top up, two things happen:
- Credits land on your balance. Immediately.
- The export paywall opens. The paid entitlement remains attached to your account for life. STEP, DXF, GLB, DAE, OBJ, STL exports become free actions with no per-download charge.
There's no "subscription lapsed" state. Reaching exactly zero does not remove export access. If an older charge or reconciled refund leaves the balance negative, downloads are temporarily suspended until a top-up clears the amount owed.
Multiple users on one account
Top-up is per account, not per user. If you share a Google account with a colleague, you share the balance and you share the export gate. If you want separate balances, use separate Google accounts.
Receipts and invoices
Link emails a receipt and a PDF invoice for each charge. The billing name and address entered at checkout appear on the transaction records. You can retrieve orders and receipts through Link; payment, invoice, and transaction-support requests are handled by Link, while Prompt2CAD continues to handle product and credit-balance support.
Promo / referral codes
Prompt2CAD does not currently issue promo codes through the in-app flow. If you've been given one out-of-band (e.g. comped credits as part of a partnership), it's applied directly to your balance, not through Stripe — you would see the credits appear without a Stripe receipt.
Failed payments
Stripe declines a card for many reasons (insufficient funds, geo-restriction, 3DS challenge timeout). The Checkout page shows the decline reason. Try again, try a different card, or email support if the issue persists.
Next: Refunds.
